new-features

We are pleased to announce the addition of new resources to the list of natively supported AWS resources visualized on hava.io automated interactive cloud infrastructure diagrams.

AWS Elastic Beanstalk is an orchestration service for deploying applications which orchestrates various AWS services, including EC2, S3, Simple Notification Service, CloudWatch, autoscaling, and Elastic Load Balancers.

    • Application Version

Elastic Beanstalk Environments will display on diagrams automatically if they're linked to Instances, Load Balancers, or Autoscale Groups. Otherwise they can visualized using the custom diagram search functions.

icon_dynamodbDynamo DB

Amazon DynamoDB is a fully managed proprietary NoSQL database service that supports key-value and document data structures and is offered by Amazon.com as part of the Amazon Web Services portfolio. DynamoDB exposes a similar data model to and derives its name from Dynamo, but has a different underlying implementation.

  • Displayed on diagram

    • Table

DynamoDB tables can only be added to diagrams using the search currently, though connections via VPC endpoints are in the works. You can search for them by using names and tags, or just using the 'type' operator.

icon_cloudfrontCloudFront

Amazon CloudFront is a content delivery network offered by Amazon Web Services. Content delivery networks provide a globally-distributed network of proxy servers which cache content, such as web videos or other bulky media, more locally to consumers, thus improving access speed for downloading the content.

  • Displayed on diagram

    • Distribution

    • Streaming Distribution

CloudFront distributions will automatically display on diagrams if they have a Load Balancer as an origin. Otherwise they can also be added using the search by tags, name, or type. You can also use the deep search operator (@) to show their linked S3 Bucket origins, Web ACL's, and any Lambda functions associated to their cache behaviors.

The new resources that are capable of being automatically detected will appear on your diagrams during the next auto or manual sync.

If you have any questions, please contact support via email or chat to discuss these new diagram enhancements.

Hava supports the new Cape Town and Milan Regions.

New_AWS_Regions

Hava now supports the new Milan and Cape Town regions - if these regions are activated in your accounts you should now see the environments and resources deployed there. You can also use the 'region' token in the search bar to find resources and environments specific to the new regions.
